From ceremony to sunset, every moment is framed by nature’s beauty and supported by a dedicated team known for its attention to detail. The venue is managed by Warkworth-based husband-and-wife team Kelly and Andrew Hamilton-Wallace of Utterly Marquee + Event Hire, who bring extensive experience to every event held at The Green. Having delivered more than 650 marquee weddings across Auckland and Northland, the Utterly team has designed the space with weddings and events in mind, ensuring practicality, flow and atmosphere.
A purpose-levelled lawn creates the ideal setting for marquee weddings, positioned to make the most of the sweeping rural and harbour views. Couples can host their ceremony, photographs, cocktail hour and reception all on site, allowing the entire celebration to flow seamlessly in one beautiful location. From a relaxed ceremony overlooking the water to drinks and canapés on the lawn and dancing beneath a clear-roof marquee, the property offers a natural progression for the day’s events.
Two on-site cottages allow couples, families or the bridal party to enjoy the property over several days, turning a wedding into a relaxed experience rather than a single afternoon celebration.
Flexibility is one of The Green’s greatest strengths. Couples can bring their own catering, drinks and styling while still benefiting from Utterly’s expertise and extensive hire inventory, including clear-roof marquees, lighting, furniture and dance floors.
