Off the back of a full season of weddings, with every weekend booked from January through April this year, Vanderosa Farms is now more refined than ever - streamlining their processes and offering a seamless experience.
Last year brought exciting additions including a new ceremony lawn, connected by a timber boardwalk, guiding guests through lush, newly planted gardens and offering a dramatic bridal entrance. Over 600 native shrubs and trees now soften the landscape, including Ake Ake -meaning ‘forever’ in Te Reo Māori - chosen especially for the romantic promise it represents.
Vanderosa thrives on versatility, offering couples the freedom to express their own style. From elegant seated receptions to relaxed walk-and-fork affairs, every event feels distinct. Highlights from the season include breathtaking floral installations, glamorous confetti-filled celebrations, and a canopy of lanterns suspended from the barn ceiling.
Catering options are equally flexible, with local favourites like Source Kitchen and Fired Pizza Company delivering standout menus tailored to the occasion. A BYO alcohol policy and indoor furniture provided to make planning even easier. Behind the scenes, Vanderosa’s thoughtful planning tools include a list of trusted vendors and a firm requirement that couples have a day-of coordinator or planner to ensure everything runs smoothly.
With on-site accommodation sleeping up to ten and plans for future chalets - and even a honeymoon suite - Vanderosa Farms is designed to be more than a venue; it’s an experience. One that includes options such as horse treks, biking and walking trails, and a golf swing with biodegradable balls, amongst the site's ecologically significant bushland - adding to an already magical venue.
