FINDING BALANCE THROUGH CONNECTION
A calm and compassionate approach to well-being is at the heart of this Warkworth practice.
Back to Balance was founded in 2017 by Lee Flavell, a dedicated practitioner whose genuine care for people and meaningful connections shines through in everything she does.
With years of experience in nursing, followed by work in the natural health field, Lee has guided countless clients through everyday wellness support as well as life’s toughest moments. Over time, she noticed how profoundly people benefit from simply being truly listened to – something increasingly rare in a busy world. That insight became the foundation of Back to Balance.
As a Master NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) Practitioner and certified Havening Techniques® Practitioner, Lee brings powerful, practical tools to her one-on-one sessions. She supports clients navigating stress, anxiety, grief, and major life transitions, guiding them toward greater clarity, confidence, and emotional balance. Authentic connection, active listening, and creating a safe, non-judgemental space are central to her approach – uncovering what’s holding clients back and finding fresh ways forward.
Lee’s own life experiences have deepened her empathy. Losing her mother at a young age, raising two children, caring for her father through illness, and facing her own health challenges have all shaped her grounded, relatable approach. Combined with her background in fitness, outdoor adventure, and personal development, these experiences inform her work.
Clients often leave sessions feeling truly understood, supported, and ready to move forward with renewed resilience.
What makes Back to Balance truly distinctive is Lee herself – her warmth, authenticity, humour, and ability to meet people exactly where they are. She works from a dedicated home office in Warkworth, offering a peaceful, private setting for sessions. For those unable to attend in person, she also travels, making her support flexible and accessible.
Although Lee has called Warkworth home for the past five years, her connection to the area runs much deeper, stretching back to childhood visits with family and fond memories of the community. She treasures the friendly conversations, genuine people, and enduring small-town spirit that continues to thrive as the area grows.
