LANDSCAPES WOVEN WITH FAMILY
Manicured entryways and private outdoor escapes come to life under the expert hands of Plantpro & Sons, a family business built on decades of experience.
Jerome Luiten, who has worked in landscaping and construction for more than 40 years, began Plantpro & Sons in 2011, combining his expertise in design and construction with propagating and growing wholesale plants. “We guide each project from the initial concept to the final, perfectly curated garden,” he says. This comprehensive approach has become a hallmark of the business, ensuring each project is both seamless and tailored to the client's needs.
Today, Plantpro & Sons is truly a family operation. Three of Jerome’s six children are part of the day-to-day team – Annemieke as Business Manager, Joseph as Operations Manager, and Pepijn as Foreman. His three other sons have all contributed in various roles over the past 14 years, making the business a shared legacy.
Plantpro & Sons offers a full-service landscaping experience. From the first sketch on paper to the final planted bed, the team’s meticulous attention to detail ensures every element is executed to the highest standard. Their in-house designer blends practical, on- the-ground knowledge with the unique vision of each client, producing landscape designs that reflect both property and lifestyle.
Once a plan is finalised, the expert landscaping team transforms it into reality, handling all aspects of installation from constructing garden features to selecting and planting vegetation. But their commitment doesn’t stop at installation. “Regular maintenance is key to preserving both the beauty and longevity of each outdoor space,” says Jerome. A dedicated maintenance team keeps gardens thriving and looking their best year-round.
Beyond private and commercial landscaping, the team's work can be found on more than 25 public walking tracks across the North Island and Great Barrier Island – with a focus on Kauri Dieback Prevention. The dedicated trackworks division has been operational for 12 years with its most recent completion being the Wairahi Shared User Path between Langs Beach and Bream Tail Road. Opened in 2024, the path provides locals and visitors alike with a safe, scenic connection.
Whether creating a new garden, renovating an existing space, or constructing public tracks that will be enjoyed for generations, Plantpro & Sons continues to deliver consistency and quality, bringing dream landscapes to life.
