SHAPED BY LANDSCAPE AND LIFESTYLE

The addition of a pool has turned a steep section into a striking outdoor haven, showing how the right vision and team can reshape even the trickiest site.

Creating the ultimate outdoor living space starts with a clear plan and trusted professionals. For Rob and Suzie Pelsky, that meant working with Narellan Pools Mahurangi, Mscape Landscaping, and Mako Solutions to design a pool and landscape that worked with the challenges of their site.

The property necessitated a freestanding pool with complex compliance requirements, including detailed engineering plans to satisfy council consents. Adam Williams, Director of Narellan Pools Mahurangi, led the pool install with a freestanding design suited to the slope. By dealing with engineering and approvals upfront, the project kept moving without delay.

Mscape Landscaping brought the landscape design to life in a way that complemented the home while maximising limited space. Retaining walls, decking, tiling, and planting were carefully considered so the pool felt naturally integrated into its surroundings.

Mako Solutions supplied sleek Blade balustrades, chosen for safety compliance, low maintenance, and clean lines that enhance the overall setting.

What was once a steep and difficult site is now a place to gather, swim, and soak up the views. “It’s transformed the way we live outside, and we couldn’t be happier with the result,” say Rob and Suzie.

The Pelsky project shows how, with the right plan and team, even the most complex site can be reshaped into a poolside haven that adds lasting value to the way a home is lived in.
